The short answer

What is Complete Facial Balancing?

Complete Facial Balancing is a comprehensive planning approach that evaluates facial proportions as a whole and may combine conservative filler, neurotoxin, biostimulators or device-based care. It may be selected to restore or refine facial volume when the product’s approved indication, tissue characteristics and your anatomy align. Identity Aesthetics brings 40+ years of combined experience and meticulous artistry to individualized facial balancing.

Concerns it may address

  • Imbalance among the lips, chin, cheeks, jawline or profile
  • Changes that cannot be addressed well by treating one isolated feature
  • Age-related volume shifts and asymmetry
  • A staged, natural-looking plan aligned with the whole face
Candidacy

Who may—or may not—be a candidate

Who may be considered

Adults seeking measured volume restoration or contour refinement may be candidates after an in-person medical and anatomic assessment. Good candidates have realistic goals and understand that product choice, amount and placement differ by facial region.

When treatment may not be appropriate

Treatment may be postponed for active skin or dental infection, inflammation near the treatment area, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or uncontrolled medical conditions. Severe allergies, bleeding risk, immune-modifying medicines, prior filler and planned dental work must be discussed. Product-specific contraindications apply.

What happens during treatment

Evaluate

The provider reviews history, examines facial proportions and discusses alternatives and emergency risks.

Plan & treat

The skin is cleansed and treatment landmarks are planned. Product is placed in small amounts using a needle or cannula as appropriate.

Review & follow up

The area is reassessed for symmetry and circulation. You receive written aftercare and urgent warning signs.

Informed choice

Important risks, limitations and alternatives

Risks & limitations

Risk depends on every component used. Injectable risks include bruising, swelling, asymmetry, infection, nodules and the rare possibility of vascular occlusion with skin loss, stroke or blindness. More treatment is not automatically better; staging may reduce risk and improve judgment.

Alternatives to discuss

  • No treatment or a staged observation plan
  • A different filler selected for the tissue and approved treatment area
  • A collagen biostimulator such as Sculptra or Radiesse when appropriate
  • Neurotoxin, laser, surgery or another modality when filler does not address the underlying concern
Clinical judgment

Why provider experience matters

Safe filler treatment depends on detailed knowledge of facial vessels, tissue planes and product behavior. Experienced providers use conservative planning, maintain an emergency protocol and know when not to inject—or when referral or surgery is the better option.

Identity Aesthetics approach

  • Diagnosis and anatomy before a product or device
  • Conservative planning with candid limitations
  • Licensed-provider supervision and complication readiness
  • In-office and telehealth boundaries stated clearly
Access & cost

In-office versus telehealth

Consultation and treatment are in-office. Telehealth may be used for general education, but product selection and injections require an in-person examination.

Pricing: Consultation required. Because facial balancing is a plan—not a fixed syringe package—pricing is provided after the provider defines priorities, products and whether treatment should be staged.

Common questions

Complete Facial Balancing FAQ

Is filler reversible?
Many hyaluronic-acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, but reversal is a medical treatment with its own risks and may not restore the exact pre-treatment appearance. Non-HA fillers are not dissolved the same way.
How much filler will I need?
There is no safe universal amount. Your anatomy, product, area, previous filler and desired endpoint determine whether treatment is conservative, staged or not recommended.
What symptoms are urgent?
Severe or unusual pain, blanching or dusky skin, a cool area, vision change, weakness, severe headache or stroke-like symptoms require immediate medical attention.
