Before, During & After

Treatment preparation &
aftercare guides

A practical starting point for safer planning. Your provider’s individualized written instructions always take priority over general website information.

For Every Appointment

Start with a complete health conversation

Before your visit

  • Share medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, prior procedures and any history of complications.
  • Bring a complete list of prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and supplements.
  • Tell the team about active infection, rash, open skin, recent illness, vaccination, dental work or planned surgery when relevant.
  • Do not stop anticoagulants, aspirin or any prescribed medicine unless the prescribing clinician specifically directs you.
  • Ask about expected benefit, alternatives, downtime, total cost and when results should be evaluated.

After your visit

  • Follow the treatment-specific written instructions supplied by your clinician.
  • Use only recommended skin care, medication and activity restrictions.
  • Keep follow-up appointments and send clear photographs if the team requests them.
  • Contact the office for unexpected, worsening or persistent symptoms rather than relying on social-media advice.
  • Call 911 for a life-threatening emergency.
Botox · Dysport · Xeomin · Jeuveau

Neurotoxin guide

Prepare & recover

  • Report prior botulinum-toxin products, dates, reactions, neuromuscular conditions, swallowing or breathing problems and all medicines.
  • Arrive with clean skin when possible. Minor redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising can occur.
  • Do not rub or manipulate treated areas unless your clinician instructs you to do so.
  • Results develop gradually. Follow the product-specific timeline before judging the final effect or scheduling a touch-up.

Get urgent help

  • Seek medical help promptly for trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing; widespread weakness; double or blurred vision; or a severe allergic reaction.
  • Contact the office about significant eyelid or brow droop, asymmetry or another concerning change.
Dermal Fillers & Facial Balancing

Filler guide

Prepare & recover

  • Disclose severe allergies, bleeding disorders, active skin inflammation or infection, prior filler type and location, and recent dental procedures.
  • Temporary swelling, tenderness and bruising are common. Use only clinician-approved cold application, skin care and pain relief.
  • Avoid pressing, massaging or attempting to dissolve or alter filler yourself.
  • Some reactions may occur later; report new nodules, redness, drainage or recurrent swelling.

Time-sensitive warning signs

  • Seek immediate medical attention for unusual or escalating pain, vision change, stroke symptoms, or skin becoming white, gray or blue during or shortly after injection.
  • Call 911 for sudden weakness, facial droop, speech difficulty, severe headache, confusion or another possible stroke symptom.
Laser Rejuvenation

Laser treatment guide

Before treatment

  • Disclose recent sun exposure, tanning products, photosensitizing medication, cold sores, pigment changes, scarring history and recent procedures.
  • Follow the office’s instructions about shaving, skin products and sun avoidance; protocols vary by device and treatment area.
  • Do not conceal a tan, burn, rash or infection. Treatment may need to be postponed.

After treatment

  • Use only recommended cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and cooling measures.
  • Avoid picking, peeling, scrubbing and unapproved active products while skin recovers.
  • Contact the office for blistering, worsening pain, spreading redness, drainage, fever, eye symptoms or unexpected pigment change.
Glo2Facial & Skin Treatments

Facial treatment guide

Plan your visit

  • Tell the provider about allergies, current skin prescriptions, recent peels, resurfacing, injectables and active irritation.
  • Your OxyPod and intensity should be selected for current skin condition—not solely a trend or desired ingredient.
  • Ask when to pause or restart retinoids, exfoliants and other active products.

Protect the result

  • Use gentle skin care and daily sun protection as directed.
  • Avoid picking or aggressive exfoliation if temporary sensitivity occurs.
  • Report persistent swelling, hives, blistering or worsening irritation.
Non-Surgical Body Contouring

Body-contouring guide

Before & after

  • Review implanted devices, hernia, surgery, circulation or nerve problems, pregnancy status and skin integrity with the provider.
  • Understand the technology, treated tissue, expected sensation, series recommendation and realistic limitations.
  • Follow hydration, activity, compression or skin-care instructions only when prescribed for the specific device.

Contact the office

  • Report severe or increasing pain, blistering, open skin, marked swelling, weakness, numbness that persists or any unexpected change.
  • Body contouring is not a weight-loss substitute and outcomes vary by anatomy, device and treatment plan.
Intimate Wellness

HIFU vaginal wellness guide

Consultation first

  • Discuss urinary leakage, pain, bleeding, infection symptoms, pelvic-floor concerns, pregnancy status, implants and prior pelvic procedures.
  • New, severe or unexplained symptoms require appropriate medical evaluation; an aesthetic wellness procedure is not a substitute for diagnosis.
  • Ask about device status, evidence, alternatives, expected benefit, risks and the provider’s training.

After treatment

  • Follow the specific activity and intimacy restrictions supplied by the treating clinician.
  • Seek prompt medical advice for severe pain, bleeding, burns, unusual discharge, urinary retention, fever or symptoms that worsen rather than improve.
  • No tightening, sexual-function or urinary outcome can be guaranteed.
GLP-1 & Peptide Care

Medical-wellness guide

Start safely

  • Use only medication prescribed after an appropriate evaluation and dispensed by a pharmacy you can independently verify.
  • Review all medicines, pregnancy plans, gastrointestinal, gallbladder, pancreatic, kidney, endocrine and relevant family history.
  • Confirm the exact drug, FDA status, formulation, concentration, storage, administration plan, monitoring and what to do after a missed dose.
  • Never use a research-only vial or medication from an anonymous or unverified seller.

Know when to call

  • Contact the treating team for persistent vomiting, inability to maintain fluids, worsening side effects, suspected dosing error or concerning injection-site symptoms.
  • Seek urgent medical evaluation for severe or persistent abdominal pain, signs of a serious allergic reaction, fainting, confusion or another severe symptom.
  • Do not change dose or combine products without prescriber direction.
